I just wanted to congratulate the high school's 3 state qualifiers.
Thomas Hubert 135
Tyler Carney 152
Gary Walliser 160
These wrestlers qualified in what may have been the toughest sectional ever in Illinois.
7 of the top 10 teams in the state
15 top 25 teams in the state
Casey Gushleff and Ryan Rozell are alternates and missed qualifying by 1 match.
Tyler Prazma in my opinion would have qualified if it wasn't for a serious illness that kept him from competeting.
I am very proud of these guys.
If you get a chance congratulate these young men and wish them well this friday and saturday in Champaign.
